Vincent Jackson catches a big contract with Tampa Bay Bucs
Jackson, a former standout at the University of Northern Colorado, had his third 1,000-yard receiving season in 2011 on his way to his second Pro Bowl with the Chargers. Jackson made 60 receptions for 1,106 yards and nine touchdowns, and his yards-per-catch average of 18.4 was sixth in the league.

Jackson will provide a deep threat for quarterback Josh Freeman, in whose honor the 29-year-old receiver got all those 5s in the deal; Freeman wears uniform No. 5.
Redskins load up on receivers
•WASHINGTON — The Redskins made an aggressive push to improve their wide receiving corps, adding veterans Pierre Garcon, Josh Morgan and Eddie Royal.
The Redskins also re-signed starting defensive end Adam Carriker.
Receiver Wayne stays with Colts
•INDIANAPOLIS — Reggie Wayne will be back with the Colts, giving probable new quarterback Andrew Luck a veteran target after all.
The wide receiver, who agreed to a three-year deal, caught 75 passes for 960 yards and four touchdowns last season, ending a streak of seven straight seasons with at least 1,000 yards receiving.
